Hospital Revenue of Health Insurance ACOs

For the fourth part of my research, I took a look at the hospital revenue of Health Insurance Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). I specifically looked at the admission rates of the most well known  Health Insurance ACO organizations and I compared them to well known non – ACOs.

Hospital Revenue higher in Non- ACOs than Health Insurance ACOs.

As you can see from the above results, Health Insurance ACOs have lower hospital revenue than Non-ACOs. It is not entirely clear as to why these rates are lower than Non – ACOs. More research is needed to thus determine the exact cause.
