Physicians to lobby in Congress

As you can see above, there are 20 physicians that will be members of the 113th Congress when it is officially gaveled into session in January 2013. 17 members are Republican and 3 Democrats.
In 2013, a bulk of the provisions found in PL 111-148 (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) and PL 111-152 (Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act) will go into effect. If you are a physician or a hospital executive who is concerned about the effects that the provisions of the two health care reform laws will have on you, the above physician members of Congress will be the people who you should lobby. The above individuals need to be able to hear directly from you.
